Under the title “Inca 2030”, the City Council has launched a municipal strategy to be developed in the coming years.

The purpose is to define and move towards a sustainable city model that adapts to the needs of citizens.

Inca City Council, committed to the 2030 Agenda, is working hard to develop a municipal strategy that will define the city model we want to achieve in the near future. Under the title “Inca 2030”, the action plan will include an analysis of the situation and a project with the actions to be implemented to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In this way, the capital of Raiguer has already begun a process of information, awareness and training to achieve the participation of all local agents, economic organisations and citizens who are part of municipal life. “The Inca City Council has taken on the challenge of working on the SDGs and implementing the “Inca 2030” agenda.

It is necessary to involve each and everyone to achieve the established goals and develop a sustainable city model that adapts to the needs of citizens,” explains the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.

Therefore, firstly, different meetings have been held with all municipal areas to learn about their main projects and establish common objectives within the framework of the “Inca 2030” plan.

On the other hand, training activities have also been initiated for all councillors and councillors and, in the coming days, training will be carried out for all technical staff of the City Council. “The purpose is that all the people who make up the City Council are committed to ‘Inca 2030′ and work together to achieve the objectives set out in the action plan’, says Moreno.

In parallel, a fully open and participatory process has also been promoted in order to get the opinion of all tenants and consultations and a web form has been enabled. You can access the questionnaire through the following link: https://incacitutat.com/questionari-agenda-inca-2030

Finally, remember that the City Council of Inca joined, at the end of 2020, the “Red de Entitat Locales” of the “Federación España de Municipios y Provincias (FEMP)”, to develop the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda. Following this commitment, therefore, “Inca 2030” and its emerging action plan, which will be developed in the next few years, will be a key element in the development of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
