Before the end of the year, it is planned to incorporate 13 more agents to strengthen and consolidate the staff.

The Inca Town Council has incorporated 4 new agents into the Local Police in the last few days. In this way, the staff of the municipal security body is strengthened and expanded to achieve greater stability and, at the same time, improve public safety. “Security is and always will be one of our priorities. Therefore, we consider it of vital importance to have a stable staff within the Local Police,” explains the Mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.

For his part, the Councillor for Public Safety, Sebastian Oriol, points out that “from the City Council we have made a great effort to improve the conditions of the Local Police in order to consolidate the staff and attract new agents. Little by little, we are taking steps to strengthen security and achieve stability in the staff of the Local Police in Inca.

So, one of the four new agents has already got a place in the property. As for the other three new local police officers, they come from the provisional pool created by the City Council of Inca at the beginning of this year.

At the same time, a selective process is currently underway to incorporate 5 more new local police officers. Procedures will then be initiated to fill 8 vacancies before the end of 2021 so that the trainee officers can take the basic police course in the first half of 2022.

With these new incorporations, 17 in total, the Inca City Council will comply with the Strategic Plan approved a few months ago with the Personnel Board and takes a definitive step to consolidate the staff and adapt it to the current needs of the municipality.
