A project for asphalted streets and rural roads will also be developed, as well as gardening and maintenance tasks, among others.

During the plenary session held this morning, the Inca Town Council approved a credit amendment to carry out new incorporation of surplus funds for a total amount of 1,495,000 euros. This money will be incorporated into the general expenditure budget and will enable important investments to be made.

“In recent years we have made a great effort to clean up the municipal accounts and comply with budgetary stability. This allows us to make these additions to the surplus and to be able to make important investments that we consider necessary and urgent,” explains the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.

Thus, from this new addition to the surplus, the council will allocate 450,000 euros to carry out a project to pave streets and rural roads. On the other hand, among other initiatives, gardening work is also planned for public parks and gardens for an amount of 70,000 euros.

In addition, the Inca Town Council will invest 550,000 euros in the opening and new urbanisation works in Ferrilla, Om, Rector Rayó and Gerrers streets. Finally, the remaining 425,000 euros will be dedicated to investments in the water cycle and the drinking water network in several areas of Inca.
