This week saw the second delivery of the hearts sewn by women belonging to the citizens’ initiative Punts amb Vida, born in Inca.
These hearts are placed under the arms of women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, relieving their pain.
It is to be proud of this action in which creative sewing is the common thread. They are solidarity stitches that unite concerns and give shape to marvellous initiatives. You can contact them by phone on 647 740 149 or by email incasolidaria@gmail.com
One of the people who use these hearts has made public the following message of gratitude “Thank you very much for this wonderful work, a work that makes our convalescence a little easier…. 2 years after my chest operation I am still sleeping with a heart! Thank you for making our lives a little more pleasant!
The actions of Punt Amb Vida can be followed on their Facebook . one of the next is a collection that will be ready in September dedicated to schools. They need skirts, we understand uniform skirts, to transform them, a solidarity action that gives a second life to these fabrics with the consequent pampering of our ecosystem.
