The Vacubús de Salut (Health Vacubus) sets up in Artà

The vehicle will be in the Plaça del Conquistador from tomorrow until Sunday, 20th March.
The Vacubús de Salut (Health Vaccubus) arrives in Artà to administer vaccinations against COVID-19. The vehicle will be installed tomorrow in Plaça del Conquistador, 13, and will be operational from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm until Sunday, 20th March.

People who have not yet been vaccinated will be able to receive the first dose without having to make an appointment and people who have not yet received the third dose will also be able to go to the Vacubús without an appointment.

The aim of the Health Department is to increase the vaccination rate among the population and to provide citizens with all the facilities they need to receive the vaccine.

The bus will be staffed by a nurse and an auxiliary nursing care technician from Mallorca Primary Care and a service assistant from GSAIB.

A total of 5,872 vaccinations against COVID-19 have already been administered on the Vacubús since it began operating. The bus has already been installed in Palma’s Intermodal Station, in Inca during Dijous Bo, in the FAN Mallorca shopping centre on two occasions, in the Mercadona de Son Caliu, in Palma’s Plaza de España during the Christmas holidays, in the car park of the Eroski supermarket in Manacor and Sa Pobla, at the Consell street market, in the Plaça de l’Orgue in Inca, in the car park of the Eroski supermarket in Cala d’Or, again in the Plaça d’Espanya in Palma and in the car park of the Eroski supermarket in Port d’Alcúdia.
