“Our commitment to these associations is firm and we work together with them to achieve together facilitate and improve the lives of people suffering from these diseases,” says the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.

For his part, the councillor for Participation, Andreu Caballero, emphasises that “it is totally convenient and necessary to carry out actions that help these people with fecal, urinary, Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis pathologies. We have already installed a toilet adapted to their needs in Plaza Mallorca and today with this agreement we take another step forward.

“We already had an agreement with ACCU Mallorca and another with Abacco. Now, with this new agreement, we unify criteria and join forces to also extend the service to the users of the ASIA association,” added the police councillor, Sebastián Oriol.

So, thanks to the signing of this agreement, the Local Police of Inca will issue a unique and personal card to people with fecal, urinary, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis pathology who request it and that allows them to stop the vehicle anywhere on the public road when they have urgency. The authorisation is for parking for the essential time provided that it does not impede the movement of vehicles or pedestrians, with a maximum of 60 minutes, and the card must be displayed in the vehicle so that it is always visible on the windscreen.

In parallel, it should be noted that the Raiguer capital’s consistory already authorised, in 2016, the vehicles of people associated with ACCU Mallorca so that they can use the parking reserves for vehicles with reduced mobility. The City Council also has an agreement with ABACCO with the aim of improving the quality of life of people affected by Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis and and maintains close contact with ASIA with the desire to reach agreements to also improve the quality of life of people with anal incontinence.
