ART INVESTIGATION PROGRAMME

The Casa Planas and Teatre Principal research residencies begin with the aim of developing and producing innovative projects that promote creation and research in the field of all the living arts and interaction with technology. The projects will have a mentorship of several sessions with the artist Dora García, winner of the 2021 National Plastic Arts Prize, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport.

In the line “Arxiu i cos” the selected project is that of Anna Berenguer, actress and creator, who graduated in Dramatic Art from the Theatre Institute of Barcelona (IT) and graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), she is also studying the Official Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Theatre Studies specialising in Theory and Practice of Drama (UAB, UPF, IT).
Anna will develop a project on anti-landscapes focused on mediation and the language of the body.

In the line of “Experiències sonores”, the selected project is that of Sergio Monje (Palma de Mallorca, 1994) graduated in Fine Arts at the Universitat de Barcelona, completing a Master’s degree in Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Thought at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Sergio proposes to draw impossible coastlines with an artificial intelligence tool (GAN).
