On Saturday 29th October the ninth edition of the Carrera de la Galleta will take place in the neighbourhood of Cristo Rey in Inca, as part of the Inca Leisure and Sports Fair. This year, this sporting event is for the benefit of Claudia de Ves, who has been suffering for years from Gerstman Sträussler Scheinker syndrome, an extremely rare neurodegenerative disease.
Once again this year, the start will take place from the Catalina Corró Municipal Swimming Pools in Inca. The children’s race will start at 11.00 am with distances of 500, 800 and 1,200 metres. All the children taking part will receive a pack of Quely products as a gift. Afterwards, at 12 noon, the adults will start with a single 5 km race.
