Health Service Management teams

The management teams of the Health Service have held a meeting at the Son Espases University Hospital to outline the strategic lines of healthcare in the Balearic Islands over the next few years. The working meeting was promoted by the director general of the Health Service, Javier Ureña, and was attended by the management teams of the seven health departments, as well as the entire Health Service management team.

The Councilor for Health, Manuela García, also attended the meeting, in which, in addition to the strategic lines of the Health Service, the management teams were presented with the Plan for Addressing Waiting Lists, the Service’s budgets for 2024 and an action plan aimed at attracting and retaining professionals. Along the same lines, the managers of the different healthcare areas presented the action plans of each of the departments for the coming years.

This meeting aimed to define the joint strategic objectives of the different areas of the Health Service for the coming years and to set the milestones for achieving them.
