The 4th year acting students of the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de las Illes Balears

Thus, the play Macbeth. Res és, llevat del que no és, directed by Joan Fullana, performed by the students of the subject Workshop II of 4th A, Karen Codina, Aina Francia and Laura Morónez can be seen in the Sala Petita of the Teatre Principal on Friday, February 2, Saturday, 3 and Sunday, February 4.

On the other hand, the 4th B students premiered yesterday at the FOT Festival, at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, the play Escenes d’una execució, directed by Joan Manel Albinyana and performed by Juan Bolívar, Nuria Cano, Lucía Mir and Marina Morro. Escenes d’una execució can also be seen at the Teatre Principal de Palma on February 10, 11 and 12.

The Ministry of Education and Universities wishes to highlight the high quality of the performances of the students of the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de las Illes Balears while reiterating its commitment to the promotion of higher education in our community.

In the last year of the course, in the subject Workshop II, students put into practice the set of interpretative techniques acquired in the development of their studies through the staging of a textual theatrical show with the characteristics of a professional staging.

The students research, develop and deepen the creation of the characters and actions of the play, under the guidance and direction of the teachers. In this way, all the interpretative skills and tools acquired during the three previous courses are put into action, both linguistic, physical and emotional, as well as social and professional.
