The stabilization process is over

The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, the Councilor of Finance and Public Function, Pilar Bonet; the Councilor of Social Welfare, Guillermo Sánchez; the Councilor of Territory, Mobility and Infrastructures, Fernando Rubio, as well as the Insular Director of Public Function, Carmen Moreno, have attended the inauguration of the first 35 civil servants who have obtained their positions after the stabilization process in the Consell de Mallorca, the Agency of Territorial Defense and IMAS.

All of them, formerly interim civil servants, have passed the procedure achieving their definitive position as career civil servants. Specifically, 24 civil servants in the insular institution, 4 in ADT and 5 in IMAS, located in the A1 subgroup corresponding to the General Administration technicians, took possession of their posts. In the same way, another 2 civil servants have stabilized their position in the category of medium technician, subgroup A2, in the IMAS.

The president stressed the importance of the event both for them and for the institution, since “it represents another step forward and a new professional stage as a result of effort, work and sacrifice” and has valued “the continuous preparation to contribute to improve the quality of life of all Mallorcans”.

The Consell de Mallorca began a few months ago the assessment of merits and the selective tests of the exceptional process of stabilization of civil servant staff of the subscales of the General Administration of the Consell de Mallorca, the Majorcan Institute of Social Affairs and the Agency for the Defense of the Territory.

Likewise, the insular institution hosted the calls, through the Mallorcan School of Public Administration, of 29 local entities, as well as those of its autonomous bodies and municipal public companies, to carry them out jointly and manage the processes in a coordinated manner.

The councilor thanked the EMAP and those responsible for “the work done and the organization of infrastructure and logistics”. She also valued “the intense work of the tribunals, which have been in charge of the selection process” and congratulated the new career civil servants.

The purpose of the process is the reduction of the temporary character in the Administration because the state regulation establishes that the rate must be reduced to 8% and “before the call, the Consell de Mallorca was at 80%”.
