The Health Service contracts the scheduled transport maintenance service

The Consell de Govern has authorised the Health Service to contract the maintenance service for the fleet of scheduled medical transport vehicles of the Gestión Sanitaria y Asistencial de las Illes Balears (GSAIB), as well as the on-board equipment, for the sum of 1,518,500 euros.

The maintenance contract for GSAIB’s fleet of vehicles has a duration of eight months, with no provision for extensions or modifications. The non-emergency medical transport service has a total of 118 vehicles.

In 2022, GSAIB took over the management of the scheduled medical transport service and is therefore also in charge of the fleet maintenance service.
