Binissalem held yesterday, Saturday February 10, the main event of the Carnival. The Rua has counted this year with the participation of 13 children’s groups and 3 adult groups, filling the streets of Binissalem with illusion and fantasy.

Rua of Binissalem

As in recent years, the Rua has started at 16.30 hours. Four jurors, non-residents of Binissalem, have been responsible for choosing the winners of the contest.

Mayor Víctor Martí commented: “It is wonderful the great participation of the residents of Binissalem. They are all spectacular and it has been very difficult for the jury to choose a winner”.

The Carnival has had a surprise. All registered comparsas will be beneficiaries of 50 euros for their participation in sa Rua. A very good initiative by the Consistory, which shows that the important thing is to participate.
