Rafel Bosch takes office as counsellor of Treasury and Public Function of the Consell de Mallorca

The president Llorenç Galmés has highlighted “the long career” of Rafel Bosch and has affirmed that “he is the ideal person to manage the public resources with responsibility”.

Rafel Bosch was sworn in as Minister of Finance and Public Function of the Consell de Mallorca in a ceremony that took place today at the Consell Palace, led by the president of the island’s institution, Llorenç Galmés. Also in attendance were the first vice-president, Antònia Roca, and the rest of the executive councillors.

During the ceremony, President Galmés highlighted “Rafel Bosch’s long career in the world of politics” and stated that “he is the ideal person to responsibly manage the island’s public resources”. Finally, Galmés wished him “all the best in this new phase”.

For his part, the new councillor for the Treasury and Public Function, Rafel Bosch, expressed his gratitude “for the trust that the president has placed in me” and pledged to “work tirelessly to serve the citizens of Mallorca”. Between 1999 and 2003, Rafel Bosch was deputy mayor and councillor for Finance and Public Administration at Esporles Town Hall, and from 2011 to 2013 he was councillor for Education, Culture and Universities of the Government of the Balearic Islands.
