Tomorrow is the deadline for submitting applications for the Extraordinary Awards for Higher Vocational Training for the 2022-2023 academic year

The call is for students who have studied and passed, both in public and in private or subsidized centres of the Balearic Islands, a cycle of higher vocational training.

The deadline for submitting applications and accompanying documentation begins tomorrow and ends on February 28th.

The Extraordinary Awards for Higher Vocational Training for the 2022-2023 academic year

The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities the Resolution of the Regional Minister of Education and Universities by which the Extraordinary Awards for Higher Vocational Training in the field of the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands for the academic year 2022-2023 are called.

This call is aimed at students who during the academic year 2022-2023 have studied and passed, both in public and in private or subsidized centres of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, a cycle of higher vocational training, either in the mode of classroom teaching or in the mode of distance learning. In this sense, and among other requirements, students eligible for the award must have obtained as a final grade of the training cycle a score equal to or higher than 8.5.

As for the prizes, an extraordinary prize may be awarded to each professional family with higher vocational training cycles taught in the Balearic Islands, with an endowment of € 1,000.00 each. The obtaining of the Extraordinary Award of Higher Vocational Training gives the option, with the previous registration, to compete for the National Awards of Higher Vocational Training that the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports summons.

Students who obtain an extraordinary award in a higher vocational training cycle granted by the competent ministry or by the Ministry of Education and Universities of the Balearic Islands Government may be eligible for a total exemption of the tuition fees of the first year credits of the official university degree courses of which they are enrolled for the first time at the University of the Balearic Islands.

The deadline for submitting applications and accompanying documentation is from February 14 to 28, 2024, both included.
