The students of the vocal and choral subjects of the Antoni Torrandell Municipal Conservatory of Inca will participate in the rehearsals and performances of the Orfeó l’Harpa of Inca. The Orfeón el Harpa de Inca and the Conservatory
“With this new agreement, we take another step to create and promote links between the various musical associations of the municipality. They are convinced that the experience and knowledge of the Orfeó can be very enriching for students,” said the mayor of Inca, Virgilio Moreno.
For his part, the councilman of the Conservatory, Andreu Caballero, emphasizes that “in this way, the students of the choral subjects will be able to be part of a professional group with a long trajectory formed by great professionals. Likewise, the Orfeó will be able to enrich itself with young talent”.
Within the agreement framework, the students who participate in the rehearsals and activities of Harpa will be considered members and singers of the Orfeó. In parallel, the musical association can use the spaces, classrooms and instruments of the Conservatory of Inca. In addition, the choral group will have a room in the Casal Torrandell.
Finally, it should be noted that with the signing of this agreement, both institutions have also committed to exploring other avenues of collaboration, especially about the participation of the children’s choir.
