Aid for sports clubs participating in national competitions
To be eligible for this aid, national category competitions must meet certain conditions, such as appearing in the official competition calendars of the corresponding national federations. In the specific case of collective sports, they must be regular leagues, play-offs or top-level cups. Furthermore, they must involve confrontations with teams from other autonomous communities other than the Balearic Islands.
Expenses and fees to sports federations and/or professional registration leagues required for participation in national category competition in the 2023-2024 season, actually paid between 1 November 2023 and 31 May 2024, are subsidised. In addition, for the first time, three types of eligible expenditure have been added, such as the purchase of sports clothing, the rental of sports facilities for training and official matches and the salaries of the minimum compulsory professional sportsmen and women.
The Regional Ministry will allocate 850,000 euros to this call, broken down as follows: Federation registrations (80,000 euros); rental of facilities (100,000 euros); clothing (60,000 euros) and remuneration of professional contracts (610,000 euros).
Applications must be submitted electronically within 20 working days from tomorrow.
