Programmes to eradicate violence against women
The Ministry of Equality has earmarked 7 million euros for grants for programmes and projects for awareness-raising, prevention, sensitisation, research and innovation for the eradication of the different forms of violence against women for 2024.
The call, which was published last Thursday in the Official State Gazette, aims to prevent violence against women and disseminate the values of equality, diversity and tolerance.
The deadline for submitting applications is fifteen working days, starting today, 1 April, at 00:01 hours, and ending on 19 April at 23:59 hours.
The grants are in line with the measures included in the State Pact against gender violence. Specifically, they are aimed at carrying out actions to raise awareness throughout society of the harm caused by inequality and violent behaviour, and to help raise awareness of the magnitude of the problem of violence against women and its consequences, with special emphasis on young people.
This is the third call for these grants, which are managed through the Government Delegation against Gender Violence and are awarded to private, non-profit legal entities. The resolution, with all the details, is available on the website of the Government Delegation against Gender Violence.
All the documentation required to submit applications will be formalised exclusively by electronic means.
