95 vacancies for Local Police Officers in 15 municipalities of the Balearic Islands

This call consists of a selective procedure to fill career civil servant positions for the category of Local Police in the municipalities of Artà, Lloseta, Llubí, Llucmajor, Muro, Palma, Pollença, Sa Pobla, Sencelles, Sóller and Son Servera, in Mallorca; Ciutadella, Ferreries and Maó, in Menorca, and Sant Antoni de Portmany, in Ibiza.

The selective procedure for access to the category of Local Police consists of two phases, one of competition and the second of practice. The first phase consists of 4 tests: a physical aptitude test, two knowledge tests and a psychological and personality test. Once these tests have been passed and a place has been allocated in one of the participating municipalities according to the marks obtained in the knowledge tests, the municipalities have to appoint the candidates as probationary officials. As for the traineeship phase, this includes the 800-hour Basic Training Course and the six-month traineeship in the municipalities of destination.

The selection process ends once the traineeship period has been completed. The status of probationary civil servant must be maintained until the appointment as a career civil servant, if applicable, or until the candidate has been assessed as unsuitable.

The deadline for submitting applications is 3 April and ends on the 30th of the same month. Applications to take part in this selective process must be submitted online. Thus, the interested party must access the Portal del Opositor (http://oposicions.caib.es) and create the corresponding application form.
