Opens the inscription for the summer camps in La Victòria
The Consell de Mallorca opens this Wednesday the pre-registration period for the summer camps in La Victòria, organised in Alcúdia. The total price per camp is 178.64 euros, which includes the stay, meals, transfer from the meeting point (Alcúdia Municipal Sports Centre) to the camp and any activity carried out during the seven days.
The leisure activity is aimed at children and young people between 9 and 16 years old (born between 2008 and 2015), registered in any municipality of Mallorca. A total of 600 places are offered, organised in 10 shifts of 60 places. In each shift, 2 places can be reserved for those with moderate dependency, severe dependency or severe dependency. On the other hand, users of social services will be entitled to 5 places in each shift with a 50% discount on the total price of the ordinary rate.
The councillor for the Presidency, Antoni Fuster, explained that “the institutions must offer affordable opportunities for this type of activity from an inclusive, comprehensive and egalitarian perspective so that all children and young people on the island can take part in them”. Antoni Fuster explained that “allowing personal development, coexistence and respect for nature are the three main axes around which these camps, which are already very popular, revolve”.
Those interested can send their applications electronically via the website joventut.conselldemallorca.cat from the 10th of April until the 24th of April. Subsequently, a public draw will be held to allocate places, and with the payment of the pre-selected people, the final allocation will be made.
