The calendar of public holidays for 2025 agreed upon at the Mesa Social Tripartida
The Consell de Govern has approved the calendar of public holidays for the year 2025 in the Balearic Islands, at the proposal of the Conselleria d’Empresa, Empleo i Energia, with the agreement of the Mesa Social Tripartida of the autonomous community.
The calendar of public holidays for 2025, designed by current state and autonomous community regulations, is made up of 12 days, including the traditional dates in the autonomous community of 6 January, Epiphany of the Lord; 1 March, Day of the Balearic Islands; 17 April, Maundy Thursday; and 26 December, the Second Christmas Day.
Thus, the calendar of public holidays for the year 2025 in the Balearic Islands is as follows:
1 January, New Year’s Eve, Wednesday
6 January, Epiphany of the Lord, Monday
1st March, Balearic Islands Day, Saturday
17 April, Maundy Thursday
18 April, Good Friday
1 May, Labour Day, Thursday
15 August, Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Friday
1 November, All Saints’ Day, Saturday
6 December, Constitution Day, Saturday
8 December, Immaculate Conception Day, Monday
25 December, Christmas Day, Thursday
26th December, Second Christmas Day, Friday
The Consell de Govern’s agreement will be passed on to the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy.
