This equipment is essential for reducing the volume and weight of the sludge, and extracting a large amount of water, which reduces the need for transport and treatment of the waste, as well as reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and other energy and environmental needs.

The treatment of sludge generated in the wastewater treatment process requires specialised facilities that are often located many kilometres away from the plants where the sludge is produced. Improving the efficiency of sludge handling is essential to minimise the environmental impact and associated costs.

The tender is divided into five lots, to improve concurrence and effectiveness of implementation:

Lot 1: Cala d’Or – 330.327,09 € excluding VAT
Lot 2: Capdepera – 337.058,08 € excluding VAT
Lot 3: Platja de Muro – 122.614,90 € excluding VAT
Lot 4: Muro – 125.644,90 € ex VAT
Lot 5: Alaró – 239.824,38 € excluding VAT
Abaqua works on the continuous improvement of its facilities and processes, integrating improvements in management and environmental impact. This tender is part of its efforts to optimise sludge treatment and reduce its ecological footprint.
