The Government of the Balearic Islands resolves the first payment of the 2023 housing rental subsidies

This first payment of the grants for the 2023 call for applications comes a week after the last payment of the 2022 line – pending review of possible appeals – which has been prioritised this year and which has meant advancing the settlement of these pending grants to May.

In the distribution by islands, the first payment of the 2023 aid has been granted to 269 people in Mallorca for almost 628,000 euros; to 67 in Menorca, more than 152,000 euros, and 19 in Eivissa, almost 45,000 euros. The new resolution and all the information on the grants can be consulted at ajudeslloguer.caib.es

The Directorate General of Housing and Architecture is working on the review of the files of the 2023 line, with a view to future payments, while it has brought forward to this month the resolution of the pending aid for 2022, taking into account the volume of unresolved files from last year and the previous year, since the 2021 call for applications was not resolved until December 2023.

On the other hand, last April, this Directorate General resolved the eighth payment of the Bono Alquiler Joven aid, for an amount of 976,000 euros to more than 1,000 beneficiaries. So far, with this aid programme for young people, 6.3 million euros have been paid to nearly 1,400 beneficiaries.
