The Inca City Council starts the month of May with the hiring of 9 people, who will temporarily join the municipal staff thanks to the SOIB Jove: Qualified-Local Entities 2024 programme. This programme is aimed at unemployed young people over the age of 18 and under the age of 30, registered as job seekers with the SOIB who have a university degree or higher vocational training or a level 3 certificate of professionalism completed within the three years prior to the start of the contract, who meet the requirements to be hired through a training contract to obtain professional practice.

Inca Town Council hires 9 people as part of the SOIB Joven programme
“We are very happy to be able to develop this programme again and contribute to promoting the integration of young people with training into the labour market. With this one-year contract, we offer them the opportunity to begin to apply the knowledge they have been trained in, learn about public administration and expand their CVs, while at the same time providing a service to the public,” said the Councillor for Training and Employment, Francisca Barceló.
The profiles hired are: 1 Degree in Journalism, 3 Degrees in Geography, 1 Degree in Art History, 2 CFGS in Administration and Finance, 1 CFGS in Marketing and Advertising and 1 CFGS in Image Consultancy and Event Organisation. The participants will be hired for 12 months and will develop their functions in different departments of the council, according to their training.
This programme has been promoted by the SOIB and has involved an investment of 331,564.16€, of which 282,024.55€ has been financed by the SEPE through the Sectorial Conference of Employment and Labour Affairs.
