The audiovisual industry helps to diversify Mallorca’s economy and provides a perspective that encourages respect for the landscape. It is also a source of creative and technical talent and a channel through which traditions and culture are transmitted. This is the reason for actively supporting some of the international scoutings that take place on the island, such as this one, on this occasion in collaboration with Palma Pictures.
The route began on the 19th of May, and for four days, the six location scouts from the USA, with extensive experience in filming management and with major projects in their careers, have toured public and private locations in and around Palma, spectacular stretches of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range from Andratx and Calvià to Pollença, including Sóller, Torrent de Pareis, and the Nus de sa Corbata road, among many others.

Specifically, this is J.J. Levine, who has extensive experience in television, feature films, advertising, music videos and new media. He has participated in projects such as A kiss at Midnight (2008), My Name Is Khan (2010), The Muppets (2011), Power Rangers short film (2015), The Mayor (2017), and The Eternels (2021).
Jennifer Lyne, a location manager with production credits on two feature films, is also involved. Thanks to her experience, she has scouted locations for more than thirty feature films and television programmes.
Julie Hannum, location manager and producer works primarily in Los Angeles, Honolulu and Miami. She won the award “Outstanding Locations in a Contemporary Feature – Tenet (Warner Bros.)” and is known for projects such as Pirates of the Caribbean (2011): The Fountain of youth (2011), Tenet 2020, Dune (2021), The white Lotus 2021, The mother (2023), Murder Mystery II (2023), Dune (2021).
In addition, Douglas Dresser, a location scout and production manager with more than 20 years of experience who has been involved in projects such as Kill Bill: Volume I (2003) and The Hunger Games (2012), is also present.
Finally, Sam Hutchins, who has worked in film production, and is known for works such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003) or The 4 Fantastic (2007), and Bill Doyle, who has worked as a producer for director David Fincher since 2016, are also present.
