The Solidarity Race aims to raise funds for research into paediatric cancer.
The Paediatric Oncology Unit of Son Espases University Hospital is organising the 1st Solidarity Race for the Fight Against Childhood Cancer. This solidarity race will start at 6 pm on Saturday the 1st of June in the Portitxol area (Palma).

Son Espases organises the 1st Solidarity Race for the Fight against Childhood Cancer
The race has the slogan “Your kilometres give us life” and will be five kilometres long. The minimum age to participate is 18 years old. Half an hour before, you can take part in the solidarity walk, which will be one kilometre long and open to the public of all ages. The start will be at the Portitxol car park and the circuit will run in the direction of Ciutat Jardí. The race will take place after the congress of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology (SEHOP). The aim is to raise funds for paediatric cancer research. All funds will go to SEHOP’s non-profit foundation, which aims to develop and promote clinical research in this medical speciality and to provide social support for children affected by cancer and their families.
