A call for applications for financial aid to promote associations and volunteer work
The work of associations in the field of citizen participation is manifested in different areas of social, cultural, sporting and leisure life. These specific areas have sectorial associations (social services, sports, cultural, educational leisure…) constituted under the protection of the specific regulations and which have their calls for applications for grants, different from this line of aid which is aimed exclusively at other entities that promote participation. For this reason, the Consell Insular de Eivissa supports associations that work to achieve greater citizen participation in the social and cultural life of Ibiza’s citizens.
The purpose of this call for applications is to promote volunteering and associations as instruments through which the participation of citizens in the social and cultural life of the island of Eivissa is channelled and developed, through the granting of financial aid to associations that meet the requirements established in these rules, to finance their operation and maintenance, and to carry out citizen participation activities during the period between 01 November 2022 and 31 October 2024.
