From July to December last year, the Department had budgets approved by the previous government team, which the councillor and his team modified to address needs they considered urgent, such as improving infrastructure, supporting students in vulnerable situations and providing free education for 0-3-year-olds, which is already guaranteed for this academic year, which is about to end.

The 2023 budget of the Regional Ministry of Education and Universities amounted to 1,188,988,592 euros, of which 1,134,417,282 have been executed, which represents 95.41% of the total budget. The largest item was personnel, with a total expenditure of 764,473,261 euros, 99.6% of the budget.

The Regional Ministry of Education and Universities has a total budget of 1,355,800,000 euros for 2024.
