The Consell de Mallorca kicked off the programme of cultural activities at the La Misericòrdia Cultural Centre this first weekend of July with a great success with the public.

La Misericòrdia’s summer cultural programme gets underway

The first week of ‘Misericòrdia Petit’ and ‘Dissabtes a la Misericòrdia’ featured a show by the legendary Circ Bover and a concert by the band ‘Lost in Translation’. The gardens of the Misericòrdia were filled with magic and juggling with the expectation of the little ones, and also the older ones, last Friday, with the Circ Bover, and hundreds of people sang and danced, on Saturday, to the rhythm of the musical trio with their songs from films and series recognised all over the world.

The programme of cultural activities for adults, ‘Dissabtes a la Misericòrdia’ and for children ‘Misericòrdia Petit’ will continue until the end of the summer with a full schedule of performances to bring culture to Mallorcans from the Misericòrdia, a cultural reference point on the island.

Two activities are scheduled for this week: as for children’s activities, next Thursday, 11th July, at 6.30 pm, there will be storytelling at the library, and next Saturday, 13th July, at 8 pm, there will be a folkloric show with a performance by Aires de Montaña.
