Government renews agreements with Fontsana Sóller, Reina Sofía and Llevant nursing homes for nearly 20 million euros

In total, the renewal covers 268 residential places, distributed across 188 in Mallorca and 80 in Ibiza, and will remain in effect for different periods depending on each facility.

  • Fontsana Sóller Residence (managed by Sóller Invest SL): will receive €14,762,823.59 for 153 places, from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2029.
  • Llevant Residence (managed by Residència de l’Hospital de Llevant SL): will receive €3,377,116.52 for 35 places, during the same period.
  • Reina Sofía Residence (managed by Ignacio Wallis Foundation): will receive €1,835,275.12 for 80 places, from 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026.

The renewal includes an update of the price per place, effective from 1 June 2025, with a particular increase for Ibiza due to the higher costs of providing the service on the island. The maximum price per place will rise from €119.04 to €121.52 as of 1 June 2026. In Mallorca, the price will increase from €88.55 to €91.03 on the same date.

The Government underlines that these adjustments are designed to ensure the sustainability of the dependency care system and maintain a stable network of services across the islands. In addition, entities must certify the payment of supplements related to staff, facilities and rental costs, strengthening the quality and continuity of residential care.
