The Balearic Women’s Institute (IBDONA) will hold a training conference this Friday, 14 November, in Menorca, focusing on the link between substance use, vulnerability factors and the forms of violence experienced by women. The event is part of the activities marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women (25 November).
More than seventy professionals from the health and social services fields have already registered for the session, which will feature experts in gender studies, mental health, addictions and gender-based violence. The event will take place at the Sala Multifuncional in Es Mercadal, organised in collaboration with the Island Council of Menorca and the Town Council of Es Mercadal.

Registration for in-person attendance remains open until Wednesday through the official form. The conference may also be followed live online without prior registration. Participants attending in person will receive an official attendance certificate issued by IBDONA.
