The Health Service of the Balearic Islands has opened applications for statutory staff selection processes, with a total of 2,867 positions across 46 different categories. Of these, 2,358 are for open competition; 163 are for open competition for people with disabilities; 321 are for internal promotion; and 25 are for internal promotion for people with disabilities.

The application period begins on November 17 and ends on December 16, 2025. These positions are included in the 2025-2027 Multi-Year Human Resources Plan, along with the public employment offers for 2022, 2023, and 2024. This plan is unprecedented in the Service, because previously calls were restricted to replacement rates only.

In the coming months, announcements will be made for the remaining public-employment offer positions, a total of 353 jobs across 55 different categories. The service is working to ensure job stability and reduce temporary employment in permanent posts: the temporary employment rate has fallen from 43 % in 2023 to 29 % in 2025, with the goal of reaching 8 %.
