Ibiza has completed the payment of student grants for the 2024-2025 academic year before the end of the year, allocating a total of 1,475 grants with an overall amount exceeding one million euros. The initiative aims to support students’ education and mobility.
The grants cover different types of official studies, including undergraduate and master’s degrees, higher artistic education and vocational training programmes, whether undertaken on the island or elsewhere. A substantial share of the funding is dedicated to offsetting travel costs for students who must leave Ibiza to pursue university studies.

Ibiza distributes over one million euros in student grants for the 2024-2025 academic year
The number of applications has continued to rise compared to previous years, requiring reinforced administrative processing to ensure all payments were completed within the same financial year. This effort has made it possible to finalise the entire programme on time.
Education officials have underlined the importance of these grants in an island environment, where access to higher education often involves additional financial burdens for families. The growing demand highlights their role in promoting equal opportunities.
Looking ahead, plans are in place to significantly increase funding for student support, strengthening Ibiza’s commitment to education and to the academic development of its young people.
