The Hospital Universitario Son Espases has presented its 2025 Research Awards, an initiative aimed at strengthening biomedical research and acknowledging the scientific excellence achieved by healthcare professionals across all disciplines within the institution.
This year, the hospital allocated €40,000 to the awards, structured around three main categories: best scientific publication, pilot research projects with potential for external funding, and research stays at national or international institutions to foster knowledge exchange and professional development.
The award ceremony brought together key figures from the Balearic healthcare and research sectors, including senior health authorities, hospital management, and representatives from the IdISBa, underlining the strategic importance of research in improving patient care and innovation in clinical practice.
