The Serra de Tramuntana Races Return in 2026, Bringing Together Over 2,700 Family Participants Across Mallorca
One of the key highlights of this edition is the introduction of new urban routes that run through village centres, allowing participants to experience the local environment from a different perspective. In addition, the races are complemented by guided cultural visits, reinforcing the educational and heritage-based dimension of the initiative and enhancing the overall family experience.
The official launch took place in Valldemossa, where more than 300 runners took part in an opening race held entirely within the town’s inner streets, marking a significant change from previous locations. The event underlined the institutional commitment to healthy lifestyles, community engagement and the sustainable enjoyment of natural surroundings.
The 2026 calendar includes stops in Valldemossa, Calvià (Galatzó), Mancor de la Vall, Esporles, Campanet (Fonts Ufanes), Banyalbufar, Bunyola (Raixa), Pollença (Cala Sant Vicenç) and two races in Escorca. A new venue at Cúber has been added, alongside the traditional race at the So n’Amer refuge.
Since its launch in 2013, the Serra de Tramuntana circuit has recorded over 33,000 runners, confirming the success of a distinctive model that seamlessly combines sport, nature and cultural heritage, with consistently full participation at every event.
