Ibiza has approved a funding program worth €850,000 aimed at supporting the creation, development, and enhancement of strategic tourism products, as well as strengthening training and professional development within the sector. This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to diversify the island’s tourism offering and improve its overall positioning.

The grants are available to non-profit organizations, private companies, and individuals who promote projects focused on tourism innovation, enhancement of existing products, or professional training initiatives. Key priorities include reducing seasonal dependency by encouraging year-round tourism, as well as promoting sustainability, digital transformation, circular economy practices, and the integration of local businesses. These criteria aim to foster a more resilient and forward-looking tourism model.

The funding will be awarded through a competitive selection process, where proposals will be assessed based on their quality, impact, and alignment with strategic objectives. Grants may cover all or part of the project costs, depending on the evaluation results.

This investment supports the transition towards a more innovative, sustainable, and competitive tourism sector, generating added value and reinforcing Ibiza’s appeal as a leading destination.
