With the arrival of May and the peak of the agricultural production season in Ibiza, the “Això sí, és d’Eivissa” campaign has been relaunched to encourage the consumption of locally produced goods and improve their visibility in retail outlets across the island. The initiative was presented at the Can Marines estate, highlighting a renewed institutional commitment to supporting the primary sector.

Originally launched during the lockdown period, the campaign proved to be an effective tool in sustaining local producers amid a decline in tourism demand. Its reactivation aims to strengthen the connection between producers, retailers and consumers, while promoting a diet based on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced products.

Ibiza relaunches “Això sí, és d’Eivissa” campaign to boost local product consumption

The “Això sí, és d’Eivissa” label uses a colour-coded system to help consumers easily identify products: white for conventional crops, green for organic produce, red for fresh meat and blue for seafood. This system enhances transparency and extends the campaign’s presence to a wider range of commercial outlets, including butcher shops and fishmongers.

In its new phase, the campaign expands its digital strategy with active profiles on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, sharing seasonal calendars, traditional recipes and promotional content featuring local producers and businesses. A dedicated YouTube channel has also been launched, offering videos focused on local cuisine and insights into the origin of products.

This initiative stands as a key driver for local economic development, sustainability and territorial identity. Choosing products from Ibiza contributes to preserving the rural landscape, supporting the primary sector and strengthening local commerce, with fresh produce positioned as a defining value of the island.
