The president of the Mallorca Island Council, Llorenç Galmés, officially received Mallorcan representative Elisabeth Reynés following her recent proclamation as Miss World Spain 2026, in an institutional event recognising both her personal achievements and the international visibility she brings to Mallorca.

During the meeting held at the headquarters of the island institution, Galmés congratulated the young Mallorcan for becoming Spain’s official representative at the upcoming Miss World international competition, which will take place in Vietnam at the beginning of September.

The institutional reception also served as recognition of the role played by young Mallorcan talents in promoting the island’s image and international projection through globally significant events with major media impact.
