Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca (SFM) will reinforce its rail services during the night of Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 August with special overnight trains to facilitate travel for people attending the «El verano de tu vida» music festival, which will take place at the General Luque barracks in Inca.

The special operation will provide train connections throughout the night, allowing festivalgoers to travel to Inca and return home after the performances. The additional services will offer a safe and sustainable alternative to private vehicles during an event expected to attract a large number of visitors

SFM to offer special overnight services to facilitate safe travel this Saturday for the «El verano de tu vida» festival in Inca

The special rail operation, coordinated with Inca Town Council and the festival organisers, will provide additional trains on the Palma-Manacor and Palma-sa Pobla lines in both directions. All services will stop at Inca and at the corresponding intermediate stations between their points of origin and destination.

On the Palma-Manacor line, special trains will depart from Palma at 12.15 am, 2.15 am and 4.15 am. Services travelling from Manacor towards Palma will depart at 11.30 pm, 1.30 am and 3.30 am.

On the Palma-sa Pobla line, trains will leave Palma at 11.15 pm, 1.15 am and 3.15 am, while departures from sa Pobla will be scheduled for 12.45 am, 2.45 am and 4.45 am.

The availability of overnight rail connections will enable festivalgoers to avoid using private cars and will promote safer journeys after the event. The measure is also expected to help reduce road traffic, congestion and parking difficulties associated with large-scale events.

Passengers holding a Tarjeta Única or Tarjeta Intermodal will be able to use public transport free of charge in accordance with the conditions currently in force.
