Inca City Council has carried out a series of asphalt resurfacing and improvement works in recent weeks, including on Salut, Valella and Fonteta streets and at the access to Camí de les Cimenteres. The programme is intended to progressively improve road conditions and provide better conditions for traffic.

The works also cover other sections of the municipal road network and are due to continue at different locations over the coming days.

Inca Mayor Virgili Moreno said that street maintenance requires regular action: “Street maintenance is work that has to be carried out continuously. Through regular and planned resurfacing works and specific repair measures, we are progressively working at different points across the city to improve the condition of the roads.”

The interventions are included in Inca City Council’s annual resurfacing plan, which allows work to be carried out progressively on streets and other areas showing greater levels of wear or requiring new pavement.

A new project to renew the surface of other streets in the municipality is also expected to be put out to tender soon.

Alongside the resurfacing programme, the City Council will continue with specific maintenance and repair work on public roads, particularly pothole repairs, to address problems identified on the road network.
