The mobile Self-Employment Office recorded 227 individual advisory consultations across Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera over 15 service days between 23 September and 16 October. Financial assistance for established self-employed professionals and the Cuota Cero programme accounted for the largest shares of enquiries.
Of the consultations recorded, 94 involved questions about support for established self-employed workers, representing 41% of the total. Another 90 consultations, or 40%, covered the Cuota Cero programme.
The figures reflect formally recorded individual advisory sessions rather than everyone who visited the mobile information points. Some visitors sought general information without their enquiries being counted as individual consultations.
The service also received enquiries from people considering self-employment for the first time, including those seeking guidance on how to register as self-employed and begin their business activities.

Mallorca recorded 100 consultations, followed by Ibiza with 63, Menorca with 58 and Formentera with six.
The geographical figures refer to the island specified in each consultation, which did not necessarily correspond to the physical location of the advisory service. Across the 15-day programme, the average was 15.1 consultations per day.
Santa Eulària des Riu recorded the highest municipal figure, with 28 consultations. Sant Antoni de Portmany followed with 23, while Alcúdia registered 20.
Felanitx and Maó each accounted for 17 consultations, followed by Sant Lluís with 14 and Calvià with 13.
Employment matters and professional sectors
Questions about hiring employees featured in 76 consultations, while 63 included enquiries about the Escudo del Autónomo programme.
These categories overlap because individual advisory sessions could address several programmes or professional matters.
Information about the applicant’s occupation or professional activity was available for 181 of the recorded consultations.
Retail trade represented the largest identified sector, with 45 consultations. Other professional backgrounds included education and training, construction, restaurants and catering, pastry-making, gardening, transport and various service activities.
The figures provide a breakdown of the subjects addressed during the mobile advisory programme, including assistance schemes, employment matters and the requirements for starting self-employed work.
