The first prize winners were Àlex Giménez and Irene Fernández, while the second prize winners were Laia Vallo, Leiner Zapata, Jana Gener and Pau Forcada. They are students of La Salle de Alaior, IES Josep Maria Quadrado and IES Maria Àngels Cardona.

The first prize is a two-day trip to the Valencian Country, which includes a visit to the Espai Joan Fuster in Sueca and to different culturally relevant places in the city of Valencia. In contrast, the second prize is a set of books and tickets to the two animated films planned for the Anime and Manga Festival to be held at Easter.

The competition was part of the events of the Joan Fuster Fuster Year. It was organised by the Directorate General for Early Childhood, Innovation and the Educational Community and the Directorate General for Language Policy of the Government of the Balearic Islands.

The Generalitat Valenciana, the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Govern de las Illes Balears declared 2022 as Any Joan Fuster, in commemoration of the centenary of the birth of this intellectual, writer and cultural activist.
