260,000 euros will be allocated

The Department of Social Affairs and Sports, through the Directorate General of Sports, announces a total amount of 260,000 euros in aid to support actions of inclusion and social reintegration and integration of people with disabilities through sports aimed at entities, federations and sports clubs, as well as aid to women’s or mixed teams of national category, during the 2022/2023 season.

Social Affairs and Sports calls for applications for grants

The purpose of the call for applications is twofold:

- To grant aid to projects aimed at the social integration of children and young people at risk of social exclusion through continuous sporting practice or adapted sport projects, organised by non-profit associations.
- To subsidise sports clubs in the Balearic Islands with women's and mixed teams in individual and collective sports that participate in national category competitions and promote the Balearic Islands during the 2022-2023 sports season.

The deadline for submitting applications is 8 May, after the call for applications was published today in the Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands.
