The Consell de Govern approves the appointment of sixteen new directors general

\ The secretary general of the Conselleria de la Mar has also been appointed.

The Consell de Govern has today approved the appointment of a total of sixteen directors general and a secretary general, who will form part of the structure of the new Government of the Balearic Islands. The new posts will take effect from the publication of the Decree in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) and they will immediately start working on their tasks in order to respond to the needs of the citizens of the Islands.

Thus, Antoni Mesquida Bauzá has been appointed as the new Director General of Civil Service at the Ministry of the Presidency and Public Administrations.

In the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Energy, Ingrid Liliana de la Fuente Loof has been appointed Director General of Industry and Industrial Estates; Catalina Teresa Cabrer, Director General of Labour and Occupational Health, and Diego Viu Domínguez, Director General of Circular Economy, Energy Transition and Climate Change.

In the Regional Ministry of Health, Antònia Elena Esteban Ramis has been appointed director general of Public Health; Vicenç Juan Verger, director general of Health Research, Training and Accreditation, and Juan Simonet Borràs, director general of Benefits, Pharmacy and Consumption.

In the Regional Ministry of Education, the appointment of Salvador Ruiz Borràs as Director General of Teaching Staff and Rafel Maura Reus as Director General of Vocational Training and Lifelong Teacher Training has been approved.

In the Regional Ministry of Housing, Territory and Mobility, María Lorena del Valle Alonso has been appointed Director General of Mobility; María Paz Andrade Barberá, Director General of Urban Planning Coordination and Harmonisation, and Laura Colom Seguí, Director General of Territory and Landscape. In the Regional Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Joan Antoni Ramonell Miralles has been appointed new Director General of Sports.

In the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and the Natural Environment, Antoni Maria Grau Geli has been appointed Director General of Fisheries; Ana Torres Riera, Director General of the Natural Environment and Forest Management, and Joan Llabrés Enseñat, Director General of Agri-food Quality and Local Produce. Finally, Juana María Forteza Pujol has been appointed Secretary General of the Regional Ministry of the Sea and Water.
