Where does the name Gisela come from?
The shop was created by my grandmother. In the 1950s, there was a very famous porcelain doll called Gisela. In fact, the doll was the first doll known in Spain that was made of porcelain. This doll was the inspiration for the name of the shop which is still in use today, with more than 70 years of experience dressing our neighbours.
In our origins, we focused on children’s clothing, so the name of the shop, inspired by a famous doll, was a perfect choice.
Nowadays you can find a wide variety of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessories. We also have a haberdashery section.
How are you collaborating with the Binissalem Shopping Night which will take place on 15 July?
We will take clothes and accessories to the street. We will be open on the evening of Saturday 15th July. The opening hours will be extended, closing at 24:00 hours.
All this will be enlivened by a musical group and we will also have the chance to eat, as there will be a stop at a well-known establishment dedicated to the restoration of Binissalem.
At around 24:30 hours, a raffle will be held in the square for all the tickets of the people who have bought at the participating establishments on this Shopping Night.
