When did you start practising Taekwondo and why?

I started practising it when I was 7 years old, I felt a great curiosity and affinity towards this great sport. In fact, it has always been practised in my house. In my family, both my father, my uncle and my cousins are regular Taekwondo practitioners.

Where and how often do you train?

I train in Inca at Easy Fitness. I train every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, after school. Training gives me very good feelings.

What sensations do you have when you compete?

It’s a very nice feeling. At the beginning of the competition, I am a bit nervous, but that feeling changes as the competition increases. I feel very comfortable and focused. These would be the predominant sensations.

What competitions in which you have participated would highlight?

Championship of the Balearic Islands with the first position in 2022 and second in 2023.

Spanish Championship in second position in the Cadet Category, 1 month ago this 2023.

How would you like to evolve your sporting and professional career?

I would like to go very far. I have the goal of reaching the Olympic Games for this I need to win and be placed first or second in the Balearic Islands, Spain, in the European World Championship. That way, you win points and you can enter the Olympic Championships.

What is your day-to-day life like this summer?

In my day-to-day I get up, I go to a taekwondo campus, I have a snack and from 19 30 until 21h I train.

What do you like most about Biniamar?

What I like most about Biniamar is the Església Nova and the tranquillity of the town. There are not many people and not much traffic.

Choose the most or least preferred. A book, a movie, a Taekwondo competition, going to a concert, having a drink with friends, going on an excursion with the family.

Among my priorities, I choose between family outings and Taekwondo.

We say goodbye to Nuria, making our own sentence of the principles of Taekwondo: “He is not stronger who is able to defeat others, but he who is able to defeat himself”.
