The President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Margalida Prohens, offered a reception this afternoon to the 27 Saharawi children from the “Holidays in Peace 2023” programme.

Sahrawi children

The event was attended by the children’s host families, the president of the Association of Friends of the Sahrawi People of the Balearic Islands, Catalina Rosselló, and the delegate of the Sahrawi Polisario Front in the Balearic Islands, Ehmudi Lebsir, along with other representatives of the association and Sahrawi institutional positions.

Also present at the event, held in the courtyard of the Consolat de Mar, on behalf of the Government, were the councillors of Families and Social Affairs, Catalina Cirer, and Health, Manuela García.
