6 students of the pattern-making and tailoring courses of the Consell de Eivissa receive their accreditation diplomas

The president of the Consell Insular de Eivissa, Vicent Marí, and the councillor for Economic and Business Promotion and Municipal Cooperation, Maria Fajarnés, have delivered today the diplomas to a total of 46 students.

Pattern-making and tailoring courses


The president of the Island Council of Eivissa, Vicent Marí, and the councillor of Economic and Business Promotion and Municipal Cooperation, Maria Fajarnés, have delivered today the accrediting diplomas to a total of 46 students who between November 2022 and May 2023 have successfully completed the training program in pattern making and tailoring corresponding to the initial level, advanced I, advanced II or advanced III.

These training are part of the actions for the promotion of craftsmanship developed by the Department of Economic and Business Promotion and have as its main objective to strengthen the fashion industry of Eivissa and offer continuing education to ensure greater professionalization of the sector in the trades of dressmaker and seamstresses.

The courses have been carried out in the classroom workshop of the School of Arts of Eivissa by professionals with a recognized careers in the fashion industry of Eivissa such as Tony Bonet, Monika Maxim and Antònia Riera (Ibimoda).
