New Island Director of Housing, Urban Agenda, Innovation and Employment

The president of the Consell Insular de Menorca, Adolfo Vilafranca, will appoint a new insular director of Housing, Urban Agenda, Innovation and Employment. He will be Jaume Fedelich Carretero, current councillor of Commerce, Tourism, Transparency and Innovation of the City Council of Es Castell. Fedelich, who will resign from his areas of responsibility in the Consistory, has worked for almost 40 years in the company Iberia, where he is Head of Service and Supervision, and has a long career in the field of local government.

Between 2004 and 2007 he was councillor of Personnel, Internal Order and Sports of the City Council of Es Castell, and between 2011 and 2015 first deputy mayor of Personnel, Internal Order, Commerce, Tourism and New Technologies. Between 2015 and 2019 he was the third deputy mayor for Commerce, Tourism and New Technologies.

Fedelich will take office in the coming days. In parallel, the president of the Consell Insular de Menorca will dismiss the current insular director of Housing, Urban Agenda, Innovation and Occupation, Ricardo Galí.
