Special Recognition of the PAIME 2023 Awards

This Special Recognition recognizes the work of the current Minister of Health of the Government of the Balearic Islands in her performance and her promotion of the PAIME program, both from the College of Physicians of the Balearic Islands and from the CGCOM, where she was the national coordinator of the program. From there she gave a significant boost to health promotion and disease prevention for doctors and health professionals in general.

During her participation in the PAIME Congress, the Regional Minister of Health made a presentation of the main strategic lines of the new General Directorate of Mental Health, which has already become a model and national reference. During her speech, García highlighted her commitment to include the mental health of healthcare professionals within this Directorate General, through different specific self-care programs and the Comprehensive Care Program for Mental Health Professionals, which will be launched in the coming months with the aim of strengthening support for the mental health of healthcare professionals.
